Liberty Specialty Markets appoints Humberto Pozo as the new Head of Distribution for LatAm and US

Liberty Specialty Markets (LSM), part of Liberty Mutual Insurance Group, has announced the appointment of Humberto Pozo as Head of Distribution for Latin America (LatAm) & US. Pozo has served successfully as interim since September 2024 and transitioned officially into the role on January 1st 2025.

Pozo will remain Head of Third Party LatAm while managing his new responsibilities. He will continue reporting to LSM’s president and CUO of LatAm & US, Manuel Moreno, and will begin dual reporting to Andrew Jackson, Head of Client and Broker Distribution.

Pozo will develop and implement the strategy to strengthen LSM’s presence in LatAm and the US. He and his team will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional value to brokers and clients, upholding the high standards they have come to expect from partnering with LSM.

Over his 17 years at LSM, Pozo has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills and a deep understanding of the market. His underwriting expertise, customer-centric mindset and relationship skills make him the ideal candidate to lead LSM’s distribution efforts in the region.
