Liberty Specialty Markets appoints Rodolfo Alves As Technical And Commercial Manager for Brazil

Liberty Specialty Markets (LSM), part of Liberty Mutual Insurance Group, has today announced the appointment of Rodolfo Alves as Technical and Commercial Manager for Brazil market covered by Liberty Mutual Consulting Brazil. Alves will be reporting to Humberto Pozo, Head of Third Party and interim Head of Distribution for Latin America (LatAm) & United States (US).

Alves will be accountable for the performance and management of the Brazil operation. In his new role, he will continue to establish and promote strong relationships with Brazilian brokers, clients, industry organisations and business partners. All personnel in the Brazil office will report to Alves as well as their respective Product Line Managers to ensure alignment between product strategy and implementation in the local market.

Prior to this appointment, Alves held the position of Head of Marine & Business Development. Alves has over 14 years’ experience having also worked with underwriting teams at Liberty International Underwriters and Allianz.
